Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego Airport-Liberty Station

My husband and I loved staying at this hotel for our Thanksgiving trip. The room was newly renovated, exceptionally clean, and spacious. The bed, sofa, and dining chairs were all very comfortable. The Thanksgiving breakfast was of good quality and tasted great, especially considering it was a complimentary hotel breakfast. We also appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette, which we made good use of during our stay. The location was fantastic—situated right next to a beautiful water body with a lovely walking and running path. It was also conveniently located, within a 20- to 30-minute drive to all major tourist attractions.

The property was centrally located, lots of restaurants, nearby. Close to the airport. The property was clean, the staff was welcoming and the free breakfast was pretty good, nice variety, healthy options. Nice water view, and beautifully manicured grounds.

Upon arrival Kelly at the front desk was super helpful in getting us a shuttle from the airport and helped us out with any questions or issues that we had. The location was a great family spot, we could walk to several shops, eateries and felt safe around the property. We enjoyed the hot breakfast and coffee each morning (fruit, waffles, eggs, sausage, toast). The room was fully stocked with utensils and dishes in the kitchen area. Outdoor propane grills were also available, just ask the front desk for bbq utensils. This place was basically a home away from home.

My family absolutely loved this hotel. Perfect for family. The room was very clean and cozy, the beds are extremely comfortable, we all slept like babies. The hotel amenities are thee best we’ve ever had at any other hotel. The breakfast that is included in your stay was delicious and the kids and I loved making our waffles, I also liked that they change up the menu everyday. They also offer complimentary drinks and snacks or soup and salad during the week, I most def enjoyed my complimentary sangria and beer while the kids enjoyed their lemonade and snacks or soup. The patio area is charming and very clean with an amazing view, and the pool area the kids loved. The pool is not freezing and I believe is temperature controlled. Bottom line is…… we are planning to come back. So if you’re looking for a good stay give this hotel a go.

Rooms were good and kept clean, breakfast was good with a nice different daily selection and the staff was amazing, always helpful and very polite!
